    Chem 2 may be the most boring class I have ever had to take.

    Tonight my college had its annual All You Can Eat SeaFood Extravaganza! I am not too familiar with seafood so I used it as a chance to explore my tongue around the treasures of the sea.

    I am currently fatigued from so much eating.

    Also, a friend I ate the meal with put the cafeteria thermostat from 62 degrees to 80 degrees. It got real clammy in there.

    I also have a snow day today. I feel this is not adequate compensation for spending twelve hours trying to get home on Wednesday. Because they didn't cancel classes until 3pm, so I anybody else who had a class started before 3 and didn't end until near or after it left campus right about when the snow started to fall. Fantastic planning, guys. I don't have much else going on so I can take getting home at 2:30am and then having to shovel a parking space, but I can't imagine some full time guy with kids getting off his job and suddenly discovering oh shit I'm going to have to drive for an entire work day before I can get home. Sadly, from what I heard on the radio, a 7-8+ hour commute was common in the DC/VA/MD area yesterday. It's absolutely insane.

    On the plus side, maybe I can actually get some work done on my day off, I've been lazy.

    there is like a foot and a half of snow in the city and my school responded to that by giving us a 10am delayed start

    The feminist rants in this Modern art class are really starting to get on my nerves.

    So, the snow day means my interview for an after-school tutor gig has been delayed again, making it a whole week since I was originally supposed to interview.

    I'm also extra special glad that the storm hit the day before my first day of classes, so travel will still be fuckawful tomorrow but I won't have any classes canceled. And since it's the first day, those classes will almost certainly entail "Hey, here's the syllabus, see you next class!"

    Totally going to drop Japanese. Ive just messed up too much this semester. It will drop me down below full-time status so I might see if I can add a class and just catch up to three weeks worth of stuff. Or take it easy so I can focus on the smaller number of classes and get my GPA back above 2.0

    Going below full time can cause problems with monies you may or may not be getting.

    And 3 weeks in the beginning shouldn't be too bad in most classes.

    Snow day today. Power went out on the entire campus at about 8:00 pm and we didn't get back until 12:00 pm today.

    Ugh. I'm happy not to meet with my adviser today but I did not realize it would cost me my internet connection for so long.

    Turns out my netbook is not broken at all. I've just been using the wrong AC adapter for a good week. now that I got the right one it works again
