Something cool like that tron watch or something.

Can anyone recommend one?

Do you want it to do anything cool, do you want it to be durable as anything, or do you just want it to just look cool?

This is my favorite, I have received compliments every single time I have worn it.

I pretty much just want it to look cool. I sit at a desk all day so durability isn't a huge concern.

ThinkGeek has a wide variety of watches, a neat Video watch, a blue touchscreen LED watch, a very cool starmap watch that loses a bit of the coolness with the price tag, and finally a retroish LED display watch.

You should check out the watches from Nixon. http://www.nixonnow.com/mens-watches/

If you are a big guy like me, the 51-30 pretty much defines badass.

That Zoomr is pretty sweet looking as well.

Do you want a flashy techy watch or an awesome watch that's got traditional hands and time telling capabilities?

It is about looks or function?

    What's the price range?

Looks over function. And I am looking to spend around 200$.

That video watch is cool but won't work with my computer.

There's always the iPod Nano watch, they sell those watchbands that clip in a nano, that may be interesting.

I have this watch right here which ran me about $196. It's not available from Amazon anymore, obviously, but I still figured I'd suggest it or one similar. It's pretty sweet, and it goes great with my wallet.

Looking at these very cool recommendations reminds me that my battery-free Molnija pocket watch is pretty much the exact opposite.

    ...I still like it.

    Seiko Kinetic!

I have this watch. I love kinetics. I have a cheaper fossil that displays the winding mechanism, but it isn't nearly as nice as the Seiko.

I see someone mentioned Tokyo Flash already. My wife bought me this watch from there a few years ago but I don't wear it anymore because the green lights don't work now. I wonder if I can take that to someone to fix...?

edit: looking deeper into their site they say I might need a new battery. If that doesn't work then I can contact them and they'll let me know how to get it fixed.

I've got a black Nixon Scout watch. The wrist strap is kinda wide, but I like it. It's pretty durable too, in case you like to go hiking or surfing.

I've also got a black and white pair of these silly watches.
