Help me find this software please.

I went back like 37 pages and couldn't find that thread I was looking for.

It was about a software that allowed computers to act as if they were in a local area network without being physically connected. Instead they used the software to communicate.

Anyone remember?

    Are you talking about a VPN? If so there are many software solutions out there, including stuff built into Windows (XP).

    Yeah, that's the one. Thanks. 8) But it was a software that did that too, for free. Any suggestions for a good one?

    Sorry I dont have enough experience with VPNs to recommend anything. I would maybe check the external links and/or see also sections of the Wikipedia article.

    Or see if anyone else has some better suggestions. :P
