I've made a game for the xbox Indie Games Channel. No one is paying any attention. I can't find a good way to promote a game there. We've got good reviews, but not many downloads. How to I get through to the Indie fans? How do I find them?

Advertise. Go to indie game websites, give it to your friends, make a website. Post on indie game dev forums and offer to help others out and sig your post with your own game.

Well, what have you tried already?

Have you put a trailer and/or release video on Youtube showing gameplay? Have you sent out review codes to every imaginable outlet? Did you show the game off anywhere during various stages of development to build word of mouth?
Too late for this one, but the quality of your boxart image seems to have a pretty big impact on downloads.

Have you posted in the G&T XNA thread?
I know that it's there specifically to promote your games and talk about the XNA API.
That might be a start to consider on these forums.

Well, we've pretty much tried emailing all our friends and posting on game forums that the game is out. And we have trailers on Game Trailers.

    Anything else we can do?
We don't have a major marketing budget, that's for sure.

Send it to major gaming news sites? Get them to review/ talk about your game. Do interviews.

Rock Paper Shotgun is PC-only, so don't do that.
