I am so happy that this is being contemplated. Now just dreading the possibility of having a reason to go to London again, ever.

Being a Londoner, I'm torn. I'd love to see a PAX in London, or even Europe, mainly because it would cost me a fraction of what it has done to attend the PAX's in Seattle. However, I'd have reservations on it being a "success".

All credit to considering this though. You guyshave a lot of fans outside the US.

As a student I didn't think I'd be able to attend a PAX for at least the next 3 years.
But a short trip to Britain could be justified!
I'd have to convince my not-so-nerdy friends to come along and we'd do a revisit of all the hostels from our interrail trip!
The ones that will let us back in, at least.

What we should do is have a Brit PA meet whereby we gather in the manner of a rolling snowball

Moving from city to city in a southernly direction and accumulating more and more forumers

Until we smash down upon London in a giant heap of drunken bastards

Obviously this is making a big assumption but A PAX-type thing in Europe would be pretty cool. I doubt I could afford to go, but I'd like to.

On the other hand I honestly worry about their sanity at this point, though. I'm not sure how they could possibly handle another PAX, unless this was just sort of a random one time deal.

Even if PAXuk went completely wrong, it'd still be a success. British people love it when things go wrong.

    We cheer it, in fact.

I know you probably have a legion of people at your disposal but we're pretty experienced with knowing how much venues cost and where is best to host events of this scale.

You should totally get in touch!

I'm not just saying this so I end up with a free ticket and paid to be there, no sir.

I don't think the channel is wide enough for it to ever count as international waters. It's more a disputed land between the French and English.

LondonPAX 2012 would stand a great chance of getting caught up in the massive Olympics bollocks that will be engulfing London next year so that would really need to be avoided.
