Popcap.com Plug in installer not working

Okay, a friend of mine was trying to play games off Popcap.com, but they require an plug in to be installed before she can play them in her browser.
She asks me for help, and I try it on my comp. I can download the plug in fine, but when I try to instal, it says
"unable to find compatible web browsers"
Which is odd, since I have firefox and IE. Any help?
