Why does steam, the service made by the company who made the game, get the worst bonus content?
Because publishers still have play the "Placate the Retailers So They Don't Fear Us TOO Much" game.
Anyway, Portal 2... Do I even WANT a 20-25 hour Portal? I don't know! I think I might wait and see what people say when it comes out before decided if I need it ASAP or if I can wait for an uber-sale. (Who am I kidding? I expect "ASAP")

Didn't someone (or several someones) say the single player is expected to be around 6-7 hours, and about the same for Co-op? I can't imagine this game being anywhere near 20+ hours.
Hey, if you go to this website and check out the blog, you should be able to see some valentine cards. Based on the article someone posted in the last thread, I think it's indicative of Chell's current design.

One thing I am quite curious about is how the Steam achievements and PS3 trophies will integrate. From what the Newell said, it seems there will be a direct link to Steam while on the PS3, be it a friends list, or steam app or whatever.
But that does not mean a direct link to the PS3 while on the PC (nor was I expecting that, that's a lot to ask). So if I get a trophy on the PS3, I'll get the achievement on Steam, but if I get an achievement on Steam, will I get the trophy on the PS3?
Yeah 6-7 hours sounds about right. Still, huge increase over portal 1 which I can finish in 35 minutes, and has been done in far less.
That's because you know where everything is now and how to beat all the puzzles. How long did it take to beat you the first time? Multiply that by 2 and that's about how long they're thinking each campaign will be (so, all combined, around 4 times the length of Portal 1)

I think when you're playing on PS3 you'll get both, it I'd be very surprised if you got trophies from playing on PC. It wouldn't be too hard to do, but I'm saying no simply because you're not running the XMB on the PC.

That's what I figured. I certainly do not expect them to have connectivity both ways. I only figured we'd get both achievement and trophy if you're playing on the PS3.
I was already getting the PS3 version anyway but... Wow.
I wonder how well it will work?
They also announced a while ago that the PC version will be compatible with the Razer Hydra, which is a controller somewhat similar to the PS Move. There's also going to be a bundle with it and Portal 2.
I don't understand the people complaining about Wheatley's voice being British. One of GLaDOS's behaviour (British!) modules is speaking in a foreign language, and not at all in the auto-tuned way that she speaks. Besides, is it MANDATORY that a sentient robot capable of what Aperture robots are capable of speak in that way? Jeesh.
I successfully evaded spoilers for it by going on Holiday to France without internet access. This time I shall avoid them by grabbing it ASAP and getting to thinking with portals.
The character is Cave Johnson. For those that don't know, he is the founder of Aperture Science and is previously known only from the history of Aperture Science found on the Aperture website.

I like it.
You can see Chell from behind at the top of the press page on the website. There's also the cover of some french magazine that shows her clearly.

You can go for release-date shipping through them but I dunno how expensive that is compared to the other options.

Considering they're making a version of Portal 2 specifically for the Razer Hydra, I'd guess fairly well.

Oh gosh oh gosh.

It's going to be a good year for games.
It seems like they're working on move support but are unsure if it will actually make it to the game.
Well, shit. The Razer thing is still pretty cool.

I'm starting to go slightly loopy waiting for this, I think. I haven't anticipated a release this much since the sixth Harry Potter book.
Discover the missing experiment
The Borealis, anyone?
Would be super awesome if Portal 2 has an Ep3 teaser at the end, like Ep1 had an Ep2 teaser.
Warning contains a major spoiler!

He's totally the head of the CIA in Burn After Reading.
Why I fear the ocean.
J. Jonah Jameson from Spiderman
Well, if you want to be obvious, sure.
Why I fear the ocean.
Heh, those two are the other characters I immediately think of.
My Backloggery
He's such an awesome actor!
He's going to be in the new Last Airbender show too. And was just on Raising Hope as Burt's brother.
Been in a lot of things.
