The Guiding Principles and New Rules document is now in effect.
This movie "Moon" is freaking me out a little bit and I am only 17 minutes in. Maybe it is more of a Saturday morning movie?
Not a plot spoiler. Something you want to know but not everyone will want to know.
The horror movie start is a bit of a misdirection. It makes sense later. The rest of the movie is different. Eerie and unnerving still, sure. But not horror.

I'm looking to expand my "video game art book" collection. I currently have Raising The Bar, Starcraft II (gift, technically; I would have purchased it), MegaMan Zero: Official Complete Works, and the World of Warcraft Atlas (gift).
I've been looking at the options (specifically) for Mass Effect 2, but I can't find much. The original, at least, has this; the sequel's best bet appears to be the Strategy Guide. Are there others I'm missing?
More generally, though, any suggestions are appreciated. I'm still scouring google and amazon.

If you enjoyed the game and can find it, Alan Wake has a really good coffee table book/art book.
I haven't seen 127 Hours yet but I love Danny Boyle. I have some misgivings with Sunshine, and a few with Slumdog Millionaire, but I haven't given up faith just yet.

every person who doesn't like an acquired taste always seems to think everyone who likes it is faking it. it should be an official fallacy.
CHOCO HOW CAN YOU PREFER BRAWL TO MELEE WHY ARE YOU BROKEN INSIDE
Melee has no Final Smashes or characters that can literally one-shot with a well timed smash attack
I mean it's difficult, but I like knowing that a charged up smash when I'm playing Ike could well kill someone
More importantly, no wave-dashing and I think L-cancelling is nerfed and also I just like the pace more
You liked the Final Smashes? Smash Balls were terrible, they put combat to a halt. Soon as one pops up everything stops, and people focus on clambering for it. The combat itself, though, is clunkier and heavy compared to melee, and whoever came up with the trip mechanic should be kicked in the shin with a steel toed boot.

Also, it appears that my school's new "It's time to eat lunch!" song is, in fact, ABBA.

I thought Sam Rockwell was fucking fantastic in that movie.
By which I mean, you can only use Super Smash moves to attack other players.
I mean, it was okay, but it didn't knock my socks off.
the "no true scotch man" fallacy.
Imma rent that right now
edit: I guess Feral's the first naysayer! gasp. how we will we survive without our beloved consensus
OMG
the "no true scotch man" fallacy.
I rank 127 Hours much higher though. Left that movie shaking.
Just watch it, it's a good movie!
Edit: See!!
"What Chu Gonna Do About It?"
Fantastic.
Watch it anyway. It's certainly not a terrible way to spend two hours.
the "no true scotch man" fallacy.
It is hands down my favorite.
edit: I did not doubt you DK
Just as a movie you rank it higher?
I actually really disliked 127 Hours and think Danny Boyle is getting worse and worse as time passes.
But Moon and 127 Hours aren't even comparable on any level other than both being movies. Why compare them?
I will probably be purchasing MegaMan X: Official Complete Works in the near future.
