The Guiding Principles and New Rules document is now in effect.
I'm looking for support groups aimed at partners and families of survivors of rape and sexual abuse, rather than the person who experienced it themselves (which are easy to find). I've done some searching and the only communities I've found that fit that description are forums and so forth online, but I'm really looking for something that might have a local branch in our area. This is for my husband, and while forums are okay for him I think he might have an easier time going in and talking to someone.
We're in the US.

Do you have a local crisis center? You can call them and ask. Groups such as this DO exist.
I understand if you don't want to tell us what city you live in, but if you do, I will look stuff up for you.
Yeah, I PM'd you, but I don't really want to post it publicly.

No problem. Glad to help.
What I suggested to the OP were RAINN, local mental health clinics and Planned Parenthood just FYI for later responders.
Support groups for families are pretty common because it can be really tough to support someone because you want to do the absolute best thing for them but can feel like you aren't doing enough/aren't doing the right thing. Best of luck, you'll get through it.
Crisis centers are great places to get connected to resources, they know what's out there. RAINN and other crisis lines are more than glad to provide you with places, even though you're not in crisis.

Anyway, thanks guys.
edit: okay, I've said that too many times. You get the idea.
