The new apartment is in a multi-unit complex run by an actual rental company, right? I'm really hoping the answer is yes.
This doesn't mean much since some states (like Nebraska) force landlords to create a company to rent out properties, even if it's just them renting their second house.
You pretty much can't figure out what a landlord is like until you've had them for a while, whether they're a person or a company.
