So I tried Overdrive on the ATI Catalyst utility for my 5570 GPU. I set it to 700mhz core speed and 950mhz memory. It passed the test and i click accept. Only the current tab at the bottom of the page kees showing my core speed at 157mhz and memory at 200mhz, what gives? Am I missing a fundamental step here?

edit: solved! The 'current' tab refers to the core speed and memory currently being used in real time. Ran a game in windowed mode and it changed.

    I was gonna tell you that.
    It only goes full speed when some 3D app is running. Smart Driver is smart ;)
