So it did work once. I think it's the red controller. I've had problems with it before. I couldn't find either of the others though.

I'm not real familiar with most of the characters but with a few seconds of playing I can figure out some of their special moves. Not Kabal though. I need to practice with him.

i'm usually super good with them. the ones i messed up were the ones that i paused and tried to look at real quick and then unpaused and ran out of time
No load times in the campaign and the transitions from cutscene to combat. It makes such a huge difference to the sense of immersion, I wish more games tried to do this, Dead Space 2 was awesome in this regard as well, in terms of transitions from gameplay to 'cutscene'. Different thing but yeahs.
Seriously I hate fighting games, Ive always liked Mortal Kombat just for the crazyness and art. But this is the first time I've actually enjoyed the core gameplay of a fighter.

I am bizarrely interested in this game, like part of me thinks it's really boring but I can't stop watching videos of it. Maybe the Blockbuster down the street has it to rent.
They do a pretty good job of making a single player fighting game pretty engaging for several hours. I think I've probably sunk 8+ hours into solo play alone and am still coming back to it.
