Pokemon Thread V: Woobat For President (Page 1 NSF56K)
I've been playing at a very steady pace since I got this yesterday. I can't help but check every little nook of the game, talk to every NPC, catch every Pokémon I see. I have to keep my team all the same level at all times, and replace any lesser members if I find a more suitable fit in the wild. Then I have to train that new one up to the same level as all of my other guys. I definately do not rush through these games.
I asked my friend not to bullshit this time, because in HeartGold he transferred his level 100 EV trained Pokémon over to beat the Elite 4 quicker, then gloated over me having not beat them yet. So he promised not to do that this time. I'm talking to him today and ask him how he's doing, as he couldn't get the game yesterday, I figure he'll be almost caught up to me due to non-stop playing (he's very competetive.)
He's a gym further than me, because he's only levelling his starter and has 5 puppies in his team to pick up items. All I could say was "well played, you complete and utter dick."
To me that's just cheesing through the game, but maybe I'm just bitter that he overtook me so fast.

that takes the cake for least fun way to play these games ever
Friend of mine just introduced me to a faster way to train up for the Red battle in Soul Silver.
Apparently it's easier to transfer them over to Diamond/Pearl, and just grind the Elite Four in that game, since they don't get tougher the second time around.
It works pretty well, but it's slow going; though I guess training on wild Pokemon in Silver would be slower, so I can't really complain about it.
like, are they unwatchable or is there more to the first movie than BRUTEROOT
They're very obviously children's movies that have a few dumb things about them because of that
but the first one in particular was still fairly alright. A very simple and straightforward plot, a cool-looking climax, a scary villain with clearly-defined goals, a sense that there was actually something important at stake

tact the bailer
can't be trusted to not bail
I want to leave my house but I think if I leave my house I probably won't come back until tomorrow
but leaving my house means that while at the mall I could harass employees to sell me this game early

it felt really dramatic, too
It doesn't help that I'm too lazy to fudge my DS' time/date settings.
Oh, I know.
It helps that you can just fuck with the DS' time and date, so you can set up whichever battles you want.
But that's kind of a pain, so I figure grinding the E4 would be a little bit easier.
is that fucking radical Quagsire at the beginning

i hope you guys remember any cool things that happen in the movies tonight so you can tell me about them
the basic idea of the gang traveling through dreamworlds and stuff is kinda neat
it sure blows, like, the next five movies out of the water, though
Also I need to fix my wifi because I need 170 more of these stupid things and it is so much easier to do that through trading and shit
yeah it wasn't a bad idea
just terrible terrible execution
and slightly creepy in a way I don't think was intentional
Obviously nowhere near as bad as 4ever though. That thing's just, fuckin' inexcusable
