Javascripts and applets not working

I tried in Help & Advice but they werent of much help, so i'll try here.

I was already trying to fix a problem concerning hotmail (I couldnt connect on my official email anymore, which is supposed to receive some email about a job application I did..) when my java just gave up on me apparently. When I'm on hotmail, i cant click on emails, i cant delete them, i cant change pages, etc. The link is there but when I click it, it does nothing. Theres a little ''javascript:;'' at the bottom of the screen but thats it. Nothing loads when I click on it.
Now I also cant see facebook or watch videos on gametrailers. I can still watch youtube videos though (I dont know if theres a link between what facebook and gametrailers use to run their website applications, usually when my gametrailers stop showing videos it happens to youtube too)

So I went on this page : http://www.bodo.com/javame.htm ; and apparently i'm javascript enabled, but my java applet just shows a black rectangle, or a white box with an ''x'' at the top left corner.

It does the same thing for IE.

I scanned my PC for spywares or malwares and its clean, pristine.

Also, I reinstalled Java and firefox.

I cant access the Java console when I click on tools, and when I reinstalled firefox it loaded the ''compatibility with java console'' for a couple of minutes where nothing happened before I decided to click cancel. After that i was able to access firefox but i still had my problems.

I would post pictures to better describe what im experiencing right now, but I cant access my photobucket account either. I click on login and the window doesnt show up

start -> run (or press Windows key + R)

    type:
    firefox -p

Create Profile, Next, Finish, Start Firefox

test your shiny new firefox profile and see if it works. Let us know.

Just FYI Dadouw: Java != Javascript. They are different technologies that can do/accomplish different things.
