    Bidoof was a beaver, not a raccoon.

    Sentret and Zigzagoon were raccoons.

    As the game progresses, Team Plasma starts acting stranger, less natural. After foiling one of their attempts to liberate your Pokemon, you trail them to a secluded spot, where you find them weeping and apologizing to a shadowy figure. While you cannot make out his gravelly responses to their pleas, the figure seems unsympathetic. With a crackle and a pair of dwindling screams, Team Plasma vanishes. Two small, round objects bounce to the ground in their place. You draw a bit closer to see more, but this, it turns out, is a mistake.

    A sheet of electricity washes over you, dropping you to the ground, locking all your muscles and threatening to drive you into unconsciousness. Though your muscles continue to twitch and contort, completely beyond your control, you manage to focus on the figure striding towards you out of the shadows. Battered, scarred, one-eyed, surprisingly small. Yellow.

    "P-pikachu?" you manage, through numbed and blistered lips.

    "Don't you dare call me that, boy." The voice is raspy, damaged, bitter. "Pikachu was my slave name."

    I want to see a war movie starring Pokemon, entirely in Pokemon language, with Human subtitles.
