    I think Goldendale, Washington is just very, very slightly to the east of Washington state's longitudinal centerline.

    Yeah, but video games couldn't tell you the name of that show that had the people on it.

    I do remember there being some magazine ads in Computer Shopper where you could write mail to someplace and get a floppy disk full of lists of shows that had people on them. Or something along those lines.

    Yeah it seemed like an inescapable callback to do the last panel in the original art style. I guess they have their reasons not to though. They're always bucking the trends, those scamps!

    Maybe the second panel isn't supposed to be showing us a time before the internet was around, maybe what we are seeing is a reenactment. Like they just got up after purchasing the pubic hair, went outside, and tried to think of what they did before the internet so that they could relive that moment. That is how I chose to interpet it.

    Before the internet, there was no Steam to download games and no Amazon to ship you copies of games. You actually had to leave your dwelling and search for games in brick and mortar huts of capitalism. It was horrible. That is why they were outside...because they had to.
