I'm going up there for a few days next weekend to go to a water park. Anyone know of anything to do up there?

Cedar Point if it were open this time of year...

Which water park? Great Wolf Lodge? I don't think Soak City is open.

You could try surfing on Lake Erie. There's really nothing else since Cedar Point is closed.

there's unionbusting stuff happening in Ohio too btw. Even worse than WI's bill, even.

Really? I'm having a hard enough time getting straight info about MI, I haven't seen anything about Ohio. But I'll keep that in the other thread and let this one be about Sandusky

Ask Firmskater, he's been following it better than I.

I might ask him if I can tag along when he goes to the State house to protest and stuff.

The question is, where are you coming from? If you're approaching from the West and go near Toledo I've been told their zoo and I think the art museum are pretty impressive. As for Sandusky, outside of the indoor water parks there isn't much to see there this time of year.

    That is actually true.

I haven't been to either in years though.

I'm planning to visit them both this spring.

It's probably Great Wolf Lodge, which is entirely indoors and heated.

They're like 4 indoor water parks in Sandusky now. I've been told their all really fun but I know overnight stays particularly at Kalahari are very expensive.

I'm going to Kalahari with a few people but we are staying at a hotel not at the park and just going there for a day.

I'm coming from Dayton so i guess I'm coming from the south.

to clarify: we are going up Friday, staying Friday night, going to the water park, staying Saturday night, then leaving Sunday evening.
