Folks, I'm a loooong time fan of Penny Arcade, and a writer of comics myself. I'm currently hosting a fundraiser to get my comic book miniseries, All Fall Down, published. You can find it here.
It's the story of superheroes and villains who all lose their powers permanently. They will *never* get them back. They face Dr. Kubler-Ross's Stages of Grief, including Denial, Anger, Bargaining, Mourning and Acceptance. Simultaneously, a 13-year-old girl accidentally steals every power known to man, and she can never give them back.
It's a six-issue miniseries, all bound in a graphic novel. There's a publishing deal in place, we just need to get the artwork finished, hence the fundraiser. The nice thing about Kickstarter is that we're going to have thank-you prizes for donors. The comic itself, a PDF for iPad users, t-shirts, even cameo appearances in the final two chapters.
Please, please take a look, and spread the word. We only have 15 more days to reach our goal. If we don't make it, we get nothing, and I don't know when this will see the light of day.
