    Heh, I mentioned Ikaruga nine days before PAX in the new comic thread. I think they had already decided by then what was going to be the final game, but it’s still cool.

    Yeah, there was no amazing comeback from what I recall. The team that lost was behind from the beginning because the girl had obviously not played before, and then the last level the remaining guy was doing some fucking insane shit and managed to get his score up to a respectable level, but was still about 500K short of the other team.

    I think the weirdest dude at the panel was the one desiring to touch Jerry.

    The panel as a whole was still pretty cool.

    and this seems to be becoming a thing. pax prime is 20 people => 1 winner, and pax east is 32 people in 16 teams => 1 team with two winners.

    blue lights on stage is the right screen of guy and girl, the losers. red lights on stage on the left of two guys, the winners.

    And I thought it was fucked up when I was at a Star Trek con at 14 and say the Marina Sirtis life sized cut out sell for 5 times all the others did. Then again she was the one that was there at that particular one.

    If she was there in person, I'd also buy the Sirtis one and let her sign it. If I had any interest in life-size cutouts.

    Huh, I can't see 3D either... no double vision or anything like mister -m up there but no obvious depth perception

    I have a friend who can't see 3D anymore because in high school he thought he was tough shit during a friendly roller hockey match, tried to tussle with another friend, they wrapped up and lost their balance, he fell against the ground with their combined weight and cracked the back of his head

    Was unconscious during the ride to the hospital, woke up without sight in his left eye and never got it back. Whoops.jpg
