Belmont, with the PvE goon guild (The one without annoying pricks)

I was gonna play with goons, but I only had an SA account for being in Eve goonfleet, I never actually posted there.

So I'd lost all ability to log in to my SA account and goons were like "buy a new account and we'll let you in"

so fuck that I'm playing with the G&T PVE server guild

My days of MMO serious business are kinda over, which is why I couldn't get back into Eve again.

    I nerd out on music.

Like, the physics of dissonance and how the major second on the word flickering is what makes you feel nervous during Whitacre's Sleep and how this most likely is because of the unsteady feeling you get when you are unsure of something you have heard before.

An ellipsis . . . should look like that
that's one of those things that i just learned recently and never did in college and never had anyone correct me about

and in my line of work, three dots with spaces in between looks crazy awkward onscreen and also eats up valuable character limit real estate, so thankfully nobody goes for that

if you're worried about character limits, there is a single character ellipsis in unicode. Behold …
i could be wrong, but it's possible that the folks in japan had issues with the unicode ellipsis thingy and it became a pain in the ass for everyone

or maybe we just didn't like how it looked onscreen. that's how i make most of my editorial decisions these days

one nice thing about teaching in japan, none of my students or fellow teachers seemed to know or be interested in anything grammar-related. all they wanted was swear words and animal names. life was good

Punctuation is awesome when it's natural and flows in the writing because it can do nothing but enhance the reading experience.

It is retarded when you argue about tiny little rules and regulations no one sensibly pays attention to anymore and will not be noticed by a reader who isn't as anal as you are to begin with.

I do the same thing with Street Fighter 4. I am nowhere NEAR able to play on that level, but I've watched it enough that I understand a lot of the intricacies of what is going on.
