I'm having a weird issue with XP that I've seen before, but none of the usual fixes are helping me out. Basically, as of two days ago, none of my internet browsers are connecting. I primarily use Firefox, but I also tried IE, and it is not working either. My connection is fine as I am able to connect to the Zune Marketplace to download podcasts and all of that, but I can't get either of my browsers to respond.

I have already tried the following:

-I updated the drivers to the most recent versions.
-I have reset the modem and routers, but that doesn't help, and the other computers on my network can use the internet without a problem.
-Although I primarily use the wireless, I tried connecting a CAT5 cable instead. I have the same problem regardless of whether I use a wired or wireless connection.
-Thinking that it may be a registry error, I did the Winsock Fix. No such luck.

If anyone has any ideas, I would love to hear them since I have tried everything I can think of. I know there are folks out there with a better handle on Network issues than me, however, and I hope one of you can help. Thanks.

UPDATE: Turns out that Norton was still installed on this computer and decided to do what Norton does. Ugh... At any rate, removing Norton magically fixed everything.
