A good face moisturizer

The skin on my face has been getting pretty dry of late... I've never really used a moisturizer of any kind for very long. I don't know what's good at all. Looking for recommendations. I have no idea what other information is necessary for a good recommendation, but ask away.

Thanks

Is your skin normally oily, how often do you wash your face and with what, do you sweat a lot, are you outside a lot, do you wear sunscreen regularly, is your skin sensitive, do you have any allergies, how often do you shave, what do you shave with?

    It does get oily

Wash my face 2-3 times a day with water and occasionally with this nivea face wash I have

    no sweating

    not outside a lot

    no sunscreen

    not particularly sensitive

    no allergies

once every 2-3 days, and either an electric or regular(??) razor depending on what I feel like

I use this, by Clinique. Yes, it's expensive, but it's been the one thing that's consistently helped with my combination skin and has some sunscreen for when you do go outisde. You don't really need a lot of it, a small little bit on a finger tip. Depending on use, I can usually get one 3.4oz tube to last me anywhere from 3-6 months.

I got a good face moisturizer. The only problem it's only for girls.

My face gets oily a lot so I use Neutrogena Deep Clean Facial Wash while I'm in the shower and then Neutrogena Healthy Defense Daily Moisturizer (untinted) after I'm dried off. It's been working well for me for more than a year now

They're both $6-8 dollars each but if you ration well, they can both last quite a long time. I think I've only had to purchase the facial wash two times per year and the last container of moisturizer I had lasted almost a year

Honestly, a very smaaaaall amount of milk of magnesia rubbed into your skin will help if you have oily skin.

Milk of Magnesia is cheap, this should be worth a shot.

Cetaphil was the only thing at the store I saw that I recognized from here so I'll give that a shot.

But I saved all the links to the other ones. Thanks guys.

    I like vaseline's men's lotion.

It's cheap and it keeps my skin from not looking flakey and gross.
