Hello all! There used to be a Pokemon CCG board on here, but it wasn't very active, did they delete it? If not, please move this is to there, I just wasn't sure how to find that board.
Hi guys, my friends and I love playing Pokemon on our DS' and the Pokemon Trading Card Game. When we were growing up, we all attended Pokemon Trading Card League, and it was mucho fun.
I want to bring that fun to kids in my area as I've noticed only one Pokemon League exists in Pittsburgh, and it's deep in the suburbs.
I'm interested in joining the professor program, but I'm curious if anyone has tried this, and how difficult it is to get attendance up? I'm not sure anymore how many kids are playing/buying these cards, and where to advertise to them/their parents to get interest up.
There are a few card shops in my area that I'm thinking about asking, does anyone have any tips on getting these businesses to allow you to host these events, other than the obvious "you'll sell a lot of cards" type thing?
