I'm starting to remember it well now. Morgan used Wanda to warp reality. She resurrected Wonder Man, though. I think she let Cap keep his memories.

Christ, why am I having a hard time remembering this? It really wasn't that long ago that I read it. I can't find any pictures of Cap from that either.

That was the start of the Busiek/Perez Heroes Return run

    it's awesome

Yes the Avengers in medieval times was fantastic

I love that Cap went to Hawkeye first because Hawkeye doesn't listen to anyone ever

I loved that even Black Knight got a slight redesign, meanwhile Hercules is exactly the same

This trailer was incredible. I am so excited for this. And Thor. It's gonna be such a good summer.

Once again I am just giddy at the idea of seeing everyone in The Avengers. Gonna be so rad.

    That's the ticket.

Gonna have to borrow that again. I vaguely remember it and it's only been about 5 years I think since I read it.

I do remember it being sweet, though. Cap and Iron Man look pimp. Avengers Prime reminded me of it. Which was a good mini if you ask me.

You should reread Busiek's entire Avengers run, it's so fucking good.

    Ultron Unlimited
    The Kang Dynasty
    Avengers Forever

these are some of the best Avengers stories of all time

Ok the whole Triune Understanding subplot that ran through his entire run was kind of dopey and that Aquila chick was stupid but for the most part it's awesome

Avengers Forever is close behind it

    (Triathalon sucks)

I actually read most of those some years ago. I borrowed them from my cousin.

Son of a bitch has been collecting since the early 80's. Him and an uncle got me into comics when I was around 5 or 6. I still remember reading Secret Wars for the first time. Not to mention my uncles boxes of Spider-Man and FF comics. Wish I could read all those for the first time again.

I'll borrow those Avengers again. Just got to figure out what he wants in trade.

Also I think it's funny that people give Bendis a hard time for using pet characters, like he's the only one that does it.

And Busiek's Avengers as good as it is, has a horrible horrible case of pet character-itis.

    She-Hulk even slept with Juggernaut

That never happaned for 2 reasons:

    1. it was written by Chuck Austen and thus should never be read by anyone

    2. Dan Slott retconned it away in his She-Hulk run

Tigra is a mother who walks around in her underwear and who has flirted with just about every male Avenger ever on the team

and She-Hulk has banged her way through the Marvel Universe

    barring Juggernaut

Rick Jones is one of the best characters in the Marvel Universe hands down

    dude has done it all

sidekick to Captain Marvel, Captain America, Hulk and the whole Avengers team. Wheelchair bound, then not. Host to the Cosmic Bands. Future freedom fighter. Current Abomination.

Well, I mean I'm not even counting Luke Cage cause I think even most people who rag on Bendis for this admit his Cage rules.

But compare how he used Spider-Woman between Breakout and Secret Invasion and then look at Triathalon in Busiek's Avengers.

    It is no contest
