    Oh, shit, if my post history came out while I was applying for a job...

    Well, guess I'll have to jump off that burning bridge, should I ever be forced to cross it.
    Anyway, I met Jamie at PAX East this year, and I definitely think they made the right choice.

    I loved that the giant Kristen head was shown in the background behind Robert early in the episode, I didn't know what the hell it was at first but I laughed when I saw it's true purpose.

    My online life during highschool was conducted exclusively over Lycos email, AIM, and... the old forums. Hopefully those are long gone, but I guess that's... 8 years ago.

    Further thoughts.

    I am actually frightened of Khoo, the machinations he is capable of, the sheer unrelenting power of those fiendish cogs churning away in that head, hidden behind that impassive, bland expression, watching and judging your weaknesses and waiting to strike.

    I hope I never meet him, because I will end up having to sleep with a damned knife under my pillow out of fear. :(

    When he first started talking to her about her online activities and deleting the account they didn't really elaborate for the viewer so I thought she had killed a man online just to watch him die, or something.

    I believe this is either the second or third PATV that has brought a tear to my eye. When Khoo said 2006, sophomore in high school I had the same reaction as Jerry. I graduated in 2006 and I don't even think I'm old enough for PA haha.

    Good question! Your accounts and posts will be ported over but you will have to update your login information. We are moving all of Penny Arcade to a common authentication system. You can continue to use your email address / password to login or you can use one of our supported providers GMail / Yahoo / MSN / AOL / etc.

    I ran some stats, and it looks like a majority (~75%) of users are covered by the above providers. The goal is to make the authentication process more secure and convenient.

    Congrats on getting the job, Jamie! Impressive even if you're not the 21-year-old wunderkind Robert implied. I'm curious as to whether the candidates had to show their table tennis skills, as Jerry insinuated when the job was posted. Or maybe they just left that part out of the show and Jamie painted the line with their blood.

    What is the precise issue with having an open personal history on the internet? Khoo says that simply scrubbing it out might not solve the problem. Is it that there's still a question whether a candidate habituated to publishing personal details would be a good fit with the rest of the staff?

    I'm asking because this could be useful for all of us soon to be on the job market.
