Okay what is this? How do I drink it? Refrigerate? All at once?
Someone brought it back from Japan for us but we have no idea what it is.

That MIGHT be sake, but last time I saw something with the Kanoka label, it was shochu - stronger than sake (usually between 45 - 70 proof, depending).
Stuff that comes in those one serving bottles is meant to be drunk... in a single serving. Do whatever you want with it. I prefer shochu mixed with hot water and a pickled plum. Good stuff. Wikipedia can tell you more succintly than I am. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shochu
It's barley shochu. I'd suggest you drink it on the rocks, or cut with warm water. Don't drink it straight unless you hate your life.
It's an acquired taste, especially for foreigners who are only familiar with sake. It's completely different, so even if you like sake there's a good chance you'll hate it.
Me, I'm a sucker for sweet potato shochu on the rocks.
