Since they are widescreen on the Wii (MP Trilogy)

was just curious how they achieved this.

more horizontal FOV?
less vertical?
combination of the above?

    that only refers to the HUD...? which is typical behaviour for 4:3 native games going widescreen

    More horizontal FoV isn't really that difficult to add, it's just sending a different value to the renderer. Many FPSes let you change it with a console command, so I'd be surprised if that isn't what they did.

    lol ease of implementation sure hasn't stopped countless games from cocking it up and implementing Vert- behaviour for their widescreen, even on the PC where customization and configuration options are plentiful.

    God of War 1 is Vert-
    so are all the previous gen Grand Theft Auto engine based games
