    AoS Beta 0.21 Download Now!

    This version adds several fixes to Beta 0.1. Also as many of you have found out… the in-game models are easily editable with Ken Silverman’s Slab6 program. In order to allow reskinning the models without comprimising the integrity of play… this new version checks to make sure your player models keep the same dimensions as the original models. Ironsights are also checksummed to prevent cheating, but weapons, tracers, and game objects can be freely modded.
    Check out this forum thread for some cool model… mods.
    Also this version may fix the problems people have had running a server… try it out and let me know if it works.

    Ace of Spades Beta 0.21
    -added game version checks

    Ace of Spades Beta 0.2
    -tweaked terrain generation
    -players now face the enemy side on spawn
    -Resolution can now be set in Config file
    -Default resolution changed to 1024×768
    -fixed teamchange suicide button
    -fixed disappearing intel on teamchange
    -team scores now sent across network
    -fixed occasional mini-spade or mini-pickaxe
    -grenade pin sound is now positional
    -other players now make spade dig sound
    -occasional crouch animation corruption fixed
    -enemy CP no longer shown on map
    -potential HTTP IP Request fix
    -ironsights now checksummed
    -player models checked for correct dimensions
    -fixed handling of client quit in entry screen

    Include this guide
    1. spend 5 minutes looking for a server that works
    2. find one where green has 26 people and blue has 8
    3. watch your team get spawnkilled by hackers again and again
    4. dig a hole and jerk off or something

    According to server names there's a votekick mod now. I guess it'd be useless until people have to register unique names though.

    -added anticheat
    -implemented data collection for future master ban list
    -tried to minimize view sway
    -added some connection tests before adding a server to list
    -added latency times to serverlist
    -server updates with master more frequently

    still running 0.22 due to server issues but it's all done
