    Man, my posts were about the Texas legal system not being (quite) as backwards as some people's inane prejudices suggest.

    If I were going to try to correct general firearms ignorance at every turn... I'd be... pretty frustrated.

    Seriously tough, it's the ignorance coupled with incredibly strong opinions that gets me. There seems to be an inverse correlation between knowledge about a subject and certainty that one is qualified to make judgements about it.

    I always like taking someone shooting for the first time. They learn that pistols are damn hard to shoot and you have to actually aim a shotgun.
