Just signed up with broadband and have a LAN connection.
I'vbe disabled the wireless connection (I think) through that IP address looking router setting site. Do I need to change my password from the default broadband one that the company provided (it looks complex enough)?
If my Wirless *IS* disabled, what other things do I need to do now to further safeguard my internets (and personal details) without paying an extra £2 a month for tsecurity boost (which may not even apply to a LAN connection? Do you need security with a LAN, whats the risk?)
Finally, as my deal requires a 40 gig download limit, can you recommend me a good (and free!) Bandwidth/download monitor so I know I am not exceeding the limit?
