I'm a month behind schedule on my research with a paper due, not one system is functioning properly, and I feel like a complete idiot. Finally got set up for some basic testing today, and the primary diagnostic packed up and quit with a never before seen error.
Apparently extreme crises of faith in ones own scientific abilities is perfectly normal as a grad student....
Any good movies (preferably on Netflix watch instantly) to get me pumped up again to be an engineer???
If that movie does inspire you in the face of failure nothing will.

Good Call.
I'll definitely watch this tonight.
Real Genius has been used for pump up before. One of the professors in my department set up all the lasers for it.
(Also update on the primary diagnostic: A mini connector has polarity switched and was feeding the controller a negative voltage! Yay weekends in the lab!)

Welcome to the world of SCIENCE.
Given that I blew a 100K master controller, 400v 120amp circuit, on a 7+ figure piece of equipment on Friday I can only sympathies....
You get over it after a while and start to build in a bit of extra time to get projects done.

Also, not movies but definitely things I find inspiring, When We Left Earth, In The Shadow Of The Moon, and The Wonder Of It All
