I don't understand the point of parkour/freerunning. I thought it was so you could effectively navigate an urban landscape on your feet, but what's with all the flippy flippy?

I'm feeling especially melancholy and mopey and sorry for myself. Luckily I think the neighbor's cat noticed my distress and came over to meow loudly at me.

You don't understand the point of doing a forward flip from one rooftop to another without dying?

there are apparently two competing schools of parkour/freerunning, each calling themselves either parkour or freerunning.
freerunning people are about having fun on the rooftops and seeing how quickly you can get from A to B. parkour people view it more like performance art and try to add all these things that aren't necessary but make it look cooler, and they judge people's running not by how fast the person is but by how much impossible-looking shit they manage to pull off.

It's the same reason people do tricks on bikes, skates, skateboards, etc.
It's fun and many people expect that it will impress members of the opposite sex.
Going to Reptilefest when you could have been studying for Orgo?
But this is the biggest Chicago herpetological event of the year!
And anyway, what I have to worry about right now is writing a paper on Raphael.

Freerunning was cool and fun until it started getting included in all action films. Especially that French one that was just an hour and a half of freerunning.

Okay, that makes sense. I have a friend who was into parkour in university and the way he explained it made it sound like freerunning.
I honestly can't understand someone who would say "you can't ask your roommate's girlfriend for rent when she's moved into your apartment; she doesn't have her own room!"
Like, seriously? What the fuck? This isn't her coming over for dinner or something; she's moved in to your home. That's, like, some serious personal-space violation, there. The fuck is wrong with some people?

In my mind, she should pay something, but less than an entire share.

Also, Notch is very pretty!
*Not Enterprise.
EDIT: NM, I took care of it myself.
Send him Voyager
I grew up watching Voyager. This gives me a +5 bonus to resist Neelix poisoning.
I still enjoy blowing him up in Elite Force.
Fucking hilarious ideas about anatomy and perspective are what's going on
I think I'm gonna puke.

If you're feeling down, Cass, why would you play LoL? You want to make yourself feel more down?

I deserve access over broke thirteen year olds! I've spent like seventy bucks on this game! Rabble rabble rabble!

I guess I'm praying for a miracle that means everyone I play with is pleasant, and I do well in every game, and no one is a jerk.
Herpetological? More like Herpderpological.
