Can this be our place where we DS enthusiasts just chill and chat about the DS?
So, I have recently got a DS (last week, to be precise), and I freaking love it.
A great little device and a great selection of games.
My only little beef with it, is the stylus is sorta sucky. They're not really comfortable to use, mainly because they're super small.
Because of this, I've been looking to get one of those Hori Comfortable Touch Pens, which are a bit longer, and are supposed to (by name) be comfortable. Anyone got one of them?
To answer your original question: Are you talking about the stylus on the DS Fats or the DS Lite? I found the Fats stylus terribly thin, but the default stylus on the Lite is surprisingly sufficient for me.

The Lite.
I'd say it's sufficient, but I want something just a tiny bit better. The Hori Pen
I probably will get one anyway, as they're super cheap.

I bought one of those and they're great to use. Super grip and just heavy enough for precise control. The success rate of spinners in Ouendan rose significantly. As a matter of fact, I couldn't beat RSG without it.

Sounds good. I think I'll buy one now.
What DS cases do you guys use? I'll probably get one of them too.
I'm thinking of something hard/protective that also carries games and styluses?
I don't really want to speak for others, but the basic idea is that the threads would get so big and full of the same people with the same likes/dislikes so that it was kind of intimidating for new people to ever try to get into the mix if you weren't exactly like the regulars in the System threads.
So they got rid of them. You basically just make game or topic-specific threads now.

I use this one which holds two DS games and a GBA game. The stylus you're going to buy fits in the case together with the DS. It's pretty small and it doesn't look bad. Browsing through the list though, there are cheaper options.

Everyone continuing to post in this thread like it's a DS chat thread should know better, even if the OP mucked up. Don't act like it's suddenly kosher. PM a mod and get on with other discussions.
Alas, we don't do Mega Threads for already released and established systems anymore.
Neo Rasa on

seriously, where is a good non-elite 4 place to level up.

Also, buy Bleach DS 2nd.

Not really, but megathreads are a no no now for whatever reason.
We don't do this anymore.
Sorry guy.

Now, I wasn't turned off at all, but maybe I'm not a good representation of new people? I concede to the mods' perfect wisdom.
As a stylus, it sucks. But as a wand of awesome, it is perfect.
If it doesn't, it totally should.
