So my girlfriend has to start a "quirky financial news blog."

Any ideas for catchy names?

    This is really something the author should come up with on their own. If they want to be quirky, surely coming up with their own name is part of that.

    So your girl can't even think of a quirky name for a blog she describes as ..."quirky"? That's just amazing. What the hell is she even going to write about? Financial news is dry by nature. The moment it stops being dry is the moment it's no longer just financial news and it turns in regular news.

    Just something to bear in mind given the possibility of the manager in question googling whatever name is eventually chosen.

    Kind of important context to leave out of your op. But as Japan points out in the thread, its probably best for your GF if she can come up with something on her own.

    Or, knowing bad managers, come up with some suggestions and have them come up with something completely different and awful.
