So, here is a plan, roughly.
I live in an impoverished area (business start-up incentives), and realized there is not much to export from my area that is not already being done (like agriculture). So I was curious, what if I start an online comic company.
There is a lot of local talent, kids and adults, who can draw, stencil, paint, sketch, etc with two dimensional art, and some who can do more. What if I recruited artists to join me in creating a comic book company, where we gather, plan and plot new franchise/comicbooks and storylines to get every artist potential input and then distribute the workload.
Like, for example, we realize we would need to put out two new comics each week, and we have ten guys who can create something that can be scanned, plotted, whatever to appear online. We figure out each artists schedule for when they could have a comic done, and tell them they will need to try to accomplish their own set deadline. Then we storyboard out what the comic panels will look like to convey the story.
So, if this works correctly, the artists help in establishing the rotation, thus we can have a small community providing a community of work, that attracts an online audience, and so is able to make a little bit of money for the folks around here.
And if it does well, I would expand this to creating a print comic book studio.
Did I mention that I live on the border, and would want to create content that is bilingual in nature to help in learning other languages.
Uhm, any ideas? Suggestions? Please? Thanks.
