Is it possible to make a desktop link that opens multiple tab locations in Chrome?

I basically want to click a desktop icon, which will open multiple blogs, webcomics, etc simultaneously in the same window. Is there a simple way to do this?

It's not quite what you're looking for, but you could throw all of your bookmarks into a folder on the bookmark bar, then right-click 'open all bookmarks'

Not quiet as easy as double-clicking a shortcut but pretty close.

you could make simple shortcut to chrome, and have your homepage set as all the webpages in different tabs

And to expedite it even more if you're using Windows with the Chrome shortcut in the taskbar you can middle click to open a separate Chrome window and then middle click on the bookmarks folder to open all in tabs as well!

I don't know of any way to do it from a shortcut launch either.

Okay, there's a way to do it, but if you're planning to regularly add/remove stuff from it, it's going to be a pain in the ass. If it's a set it and forget it type deal, here's how:

    1) Add shortcut for Chrome to your desktop
    2) Right-click>Properties
    3) Click into the Target field and bring your cursor all the way to the end, past the "chrome.exe" part

    4) Add the complete URLs of the sites you want to open within quotes, so, "http://www.penny-arcade.com" "http://www.threewordphrase.com" etc (probably easier to do this in notepad and then copy and paste them in) and don't include commas, just a space between each URL.

edit: hmmm, it looks like if you've already got a Chrome window open, it just adds them as additional tabs. There's probably an argument in there to have it launch as a separate window, however.

edit edit: just found it. Append "--new-window" (without the quotes) to the end of the Target argument and it'll launch as it's own window.
