I've heard this game best described as a mix of TF2's Objectives, Mirror's Edge's parkour, and Enemy Territories: Wolfenstein's gameplay.

    I've been waiting for this game since before I left for college. Two years ago.

    I really love what it's done to seemingly marry Mirror's Edge and TF2 (the latter I've dumped some obscene hours into).

    I'm still astounded that there are 8 voice packs.

    I hope one of them is Russian guy, so I can play as Heavy from TF2.

    At one point, the developers said (to paraphrase), "Let's not beat about the bush, Brink is Enemy Territory 3".

    the thing about Brink which is iffy

    is that the Ark is afloat after the polar icecaps have melted

    haven't we already established that, even if all ice on planet earth would melt this very instant, there would still be great big giant swathes of land completely and totally ok

    like, most land everywhere?

    as crappy as Waterworld was, it must've left one hell of an impression on people

    it'll probably turn out the world is ok and the reason the Ark sailed away is because there's, like, a super weapon inside that needs to be kept safe/got abducted by the people running the Ark

    search youtube for Brink Intro, some guy captured the Resistance beginning of the game from an early Xbox copy

    So far I'm hearing a lot of different British, American, Russian, and the black guy in the intro proper might be Nigerian (or at least, equatorial African). No straight up South African yet.

    Are there any reviews of this yet? Ah, fuck it, I'll just buy it anyway.
