    I'm going to scale back to 1 card for reasons of my own. The difference is minimal.

    This is a tough call, but I'm going to go with my original instinct.

    I'll contribute Politics 0 - Red Tape.

    It's been a long game and there's been a lot of Tactics, Piloting and Engineering drawn. We still have yet to see Scout for Fuel or Best of the Best, plus there could be a lot of recently-unplayed 5's in people's hands. I pray that I'm not spoiling Destiny.

    As it turns out my memory doesn't go back far enough; Both Best of the Best and Scout for Fuel have either been used or discarded in checks or executions very early in the game. Can't be bothered to do the math on whether or not they've been shuffled back into circulation by now, heh.

    Strange Beacon

    13 Tactics, Piloting, Engineering
    Pass Choose 1 space area on the main game board and remove all Cylon ships in that area.
    Fail Decrease the Jump Preparation track by 1.
    (activate raiders)

    Contributions:

    Tactics 1 - Launch Scout

    Piloting 1 - Evasive Maneuvers
    Piloting 1 - Full Throttle
    Piloting 2 - Full Throttle

    Engineering 4 - Scientific Research

    Politics 0 - Red Tape
    Politics 3 - Preventative Policy

    Treachery 2 - God's Plan

    1 + 4 + 4 - 3 - 2 = 4 - Fail! Jump prep decreases.

    Raiders activate and attack Starbuck.

    3d8 = 3, 4, 2 - Miss!

    Starbuck, I forgot to ask which type of Viper you wanted to launch to 7:00. Which type would you like?

    Cally, did you want to change your draw?

    All right, so Destiny was a net -1. And then all three Raiders missed Starbuck; God's Plan is mysterious indeed.

    Cally; if you activate Raiders, that's six shots on Starbuck and the Civilian with her. If both of them get blown up, the remaining Raiders will take shots at Galactica, which could have hilarious results. The problem is, she held back some Tactics or Piloting, and if she held back the latter, she can probably make most of them miss. Then we'll have all 12 Raiders in one space section which seems awkward and less than optimal. Especially since Starbuck's turn is after yours and she has the actions and could have the cards to take down a LOT of those Raiders.

    It might be best to damage Galactica and do something else on the Bridge; your call.

    Draw Pil/Eng

    Starbuck's not holding a Max Firepower or she'd have used it by now on those raiders. A couple of Evasives like you say is a lot more likely.

    I'd really like to sickbay her this turn for the card deprivation, but another free shot at Galactica is also tempting.

    I'm less concerned about Maximum Firepower than I am about Run Interference. If she has the latter, four of the six Raiders in her space will automatically miss.

    And if she has or draws Best of the Best than she can take out between 1 and 8 Raiders on her turn.

    I'd love to see her in Sickbay too, though. Tough call! They always are.

    Well I remember 2 of the Run Interferences been used already.

    Can we have a confirmation whether the piloting deck have been reshuffled? Or if that's not allowed, the deck status (a few left, half gone, etc?)

    Starbuck should be the only one left with any Piloting, and if the Piloting deck hasn't been shuffled yet there's only one Run Interference left out there. She has three cards in hand and I can certify that at least one is Piloting.

    Up to you, Cally.

    With no nukes and Best of the Best still in the discard pile, I think it's pretty safe.. If she has piloting cards, might as well get rid of them now.

    Good enough. -.-

    6 raiders at 1:00 attack Starbuck.
    1d8 = 3 - Miss!
    1d8 = 7 - Starbuck plays Piloting 1 - Evasive Maneuvers
    1d8 = 4 - 2 = 2 - Miss!
    1d8 = 6 - Hit! Starbuck sent to Sickbay.
    Raider destroys Civilian A. No resources lost.

    Remaining 8 raiders attack Galactica.
    8d8 = 7, 4, 5, 2, 6, 8, 5, 4.

    Cally, you have one damage token to assign. Galactica or Pegasus?

    Cally's assault on the Pegasus pays off as the battlestar sustains critical damage. Main Batteries Damaged - Pegasus Destroyed!

    Back on Galactica, things aren't looking so well for Starbuck. The CAG has been severely injured by the raider attack. Despite Cottle's expert care, the CAG flatlines.

    Starbuck draws a Disaster token and is executed. -1 Morale

    Starbuck reveals her loyalty cards:

    You are NOT a Cylon

    You are NOT a Cylon - Personal Goal: Stand and Fight: 10 or more Raiders

    Action: Reveal this card if 10 or more raiders are on the main game board.
    Then, if distance is 6 or less, shuffle 1 "You Are Not A Cylon" card into the Loyalty deck and draw a new Loyalty Card.
    If you are a human player and this card has not been revealed by the end of the game, lose 1 Population.

    Starbuck discards:
    Piloting 0 - Protect the Fleet
    Treachery 3 - Sabotage

    Gaeta plays Treachery 3 - Sabotage. -1 Food.

    Starbuck, who do you want to reincarnate as?
