Best freeware to clone laptop HDD [Resolved]

I had issues with my laptop's HDD and sent the original in for repair. I used a smaller 60GB drive while I was waiting for the original 500GB drive to be replaced. Now I have both, but I don't want to reinstall windows and everything on the 500GB.

I am able to connect both drives to my desktop (one at a time) for backup and restore and I would like the 500GB to have the all the proper booting nonsense it needs. What's the best software to do this with?

Clonezilla is nice, but for ease of use if you can connect the drives to another computer I recommend Macrium Reflect. I use the free version all the time and it's great. It's also really, really fast.

If you run into boot issues, you can choose to use the "standard windows xp master boot record" instead of the original. I have one image that has issues that I do that with. Also, choose the "do not assign a drive letter" option, it's not needed in your situation.

If your new drive is by Western Digital, you can get a special "WD Edition" of Acronis True Image for free from here: http://support.wdc.com/product/downloaddetail.asp?swid=119

Both drives are Seagate. Macrium Reflect worked very well and was charmingly easy to use, thanks gentlemen!
