Finding a quote re: lawyers

No, not lawyer jokes.

I'm trying to hunt down a specific quote, which is something along the lines that a legal mind is one that can consider an issue/thing inextricably connected to another without considering the second issue/thing.

I don't know about any of the exact words there, so google is laughing at me. I figure there's gotta be a 1L or someone with a better memory that can help me out.
