I don't know if I'm allowed to do this here, but here goes...

Is there anyone out there that knows someone that could be a professional Popeye (the sailor man) for a weekend? I'm looking to hire someone who makes a convincing (enough) Popeye to attend a festival in Tacoma Washington that I am organizing for August 27th-28th.

Thanks.

Might want to clarify with where you live - or where and when you need Popeye.

Give Live Wires a call: http://www.live-wires.com/. They may or may not be able to do it, or they may or may not know who could, but it's worth a shot.

You can see if Robin Williams is free? :D

You might be able to get some leads by looking for 'professional character actors.'

I'm curious as to what exactly you have going on that requires a Popeye on hand?

Thanks for the help guys, it's a great place to start.

@ Gabriel_Pitt It's for the Tacoma Maritime Fest. It's all about boats and water and stuff. Plus the boss said "find me a Popeye."
