PS2 Games for Non-Gamer Girls

I'm looking for some PS2 games to get for my sister. She's not a gamer by any means, but she likes simple puzzle games like Tetris and minigames and such. Also, she doesn't really have time for time-consuming adventurey games, she doesn't like really hard games, and she can't stand lava.

So, my question is basically, what games do your non-gamer sisters/girlfriends/mothers enjoy that you would recommend?

So far, my list of possible choices consists of Tetris Worlds, Super Monkey Ball Deluxe, Soul Calibur 3 (she liked SC2, somehow), a DDR game, and Katamari. Help?

So you want a short, easy game, prefereably puzzle-based, with no lava.

Anything with Katamari in the Title
    Super Bust-a-Move 2

Possibly The Adventures of Cookie & Cream

Singstar/Guitar Hero stuff usually goes down quite well.

Get her some cart racers. Since it is the PS2 you are limited, but there were a few decent one that came out. Try one of the Crash Bandicoot kart racers.

Your best chance is to buy a GC or an Xbox though, as my GF watches me play most of my PS2 games, while playing the other 2 consoles.

Lego Star Wars; plus you can play together.

Just uh, don't play the last level of Episode III.

    Haha.

I thought about Lego SW, but I'm really not sure she'd like it. I suppose if she doesn't like it I can just keep it for myself, though. And I probably wouldn't be able to play with her very often, I barely see her these days. :(

And aside from DDR, she doesn't like music games. She says she doesn't have any rhythm. But she likes DDR because it's fun (and good for you!) to jump around, even if you're doing badly.

I can't comment on my own family (my mum hasn't really played games since Sonic the Hedgehog and I don't see much since she moved out) but I'd recommend Eyetoy, Singstar and Buzz, especially if she has some friends to play them with. My mates sister bought a PS2 exclusively to play those three games.

Otherwise, what about Ico and Shadow of the Colossus?

I'd do anything to get her to play SotC or Ico, but alas, she just won't play that kind of game. I can't even imagine her sitting down to play an action-adventure game.

    Sims 2?

If she digs that sort of thing. Which a lot of people seem to.

Helo Kitty: Roller Rescue is very much an easy game and there's no lava. Not heavy on the puzzles though.

My sisters, on the occasions I can get them to play, enjoy Katmari-ish things, Kuri Kuri Mix/Cookie and Cream, Lego Star Wars and, strangely, Gitaroo Man.

Bombastic. You can probably even play that game on the dance pad.

Not only are non-gamers human beings, but frequently, so are women. They therefore tend to enjoy things which are fun.

Yes, but Cookies and Cream is apparently from 2001 and I haven't heard of it until now. It seems to be gathering a huge following all of a sudden.

Threads come in circles and it gets pimped in every PS2 co-op and games for girls thread.
