Tournament: On May 28, from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. EST, teams from each Halo community will fight for glory, pride and honor.

Teams of six will compete using the Bungie Humpday rules: best of three, only members of your community can play for your teams and matchmaking game types only (excluding MLG, Team Classic, Grifball and Action Sack variants). A coin flip will determine which team gets first choice. The losers of each match will choose the next game.

Each site should choose one member to be its community leader. Leaders will be responsible for organizing his/her members. If it would be easier to have several leaders, that’s fine.

The leaders do not have to play in every game. In fact, they don’t have to play at all. We just need all of the help we can get.

Each site can have up to three teams (that’s 18 total people). This will help accommodate communities with large memberships.

Hello, fellow PA Forum denizens. A friendly (I'm assuming) tournament is at hand. Not quite the tournament type? 343 will be hosting those with who prefer the more laid back and no-pressure environment of custom games. They will be showering prizes on both crowds after the night is done, though.

Prizes: Everyone who plays in the tournament will be entered into a random drawing. Those who win the drawing will receive one free DLC code from the GameStop.com Xbox DLC store valued at $10 or less. (This can be Halo DLC, Mass Effect 2 DLC or anything in the DLC store that costs no more than $10.)

The tournament winners will be entered into the drawing twice, giving them a higher chance to win — but no guarantee! This is in addition to the bragging rights the tournament winners earn.

There will be a second drawing for one person who played with 343 Industries to win a DLC code. All players have an equal chance of winning.

Prize Update:
343's bsangel has added more incentive to play in the tournament.

The winning tournament community members will each win one of two XBLA games ("Full House Poker" or "Dishwasher: Vampire Smile,") a Green Spartan Avatar Armor code, a Halo Flood Pet Avatar Prop and both a red and a blue Avatar Helmet.

The six random winners of the $10 DLC prize will also win a randomly selected Halo Games on Demand code ("Halo 3," "Halo Wars" or "Halo: Reach.")

And here is where we come in. I am in charge of the Penny Arcade Forum participants. As such, I need to know three things about you:

1) Do you want to participate in the Tournament side or the Customs side? (You can't be in both)
2) If you are in the customs group, would you like to be an alternate for the tournament side just in case?
3) What is your gamertag?

Anybody who has a join date before Monday, May 16th can play. There are no minimum skill or level or anything requirements. This is open to all subforums on Penny Arcade Forums. Just sign up if you're interested. Don't be shy! If we don't manage enough for 6 unique teams in the tournament, people will simply play multiple times.
