I'm really digging this soul thing that's happening in Britain. I bought Joss Stone's first album around the time it came out and enjoyed it like most people did, I believe. Now I'm left wanting more of it. I've still got some great LP's and such that I can get my fix with, but something new would be nice, and it looks like it's coming from the queen's house. I'm looking for more, preferably underground stuff, less poppy like Stone's but still with that British soul feel to it. I know of Corrine Bailey-Rea (sp), and that's nice, but I want something a touch more bluesy. Think a Hendrix stop-time jazz piece with those smooth vocals.
I ask because NPR did a piece on it that re-piqued my interests, but I haven't been able to find what they talked about again. Suggestions?

This dude's awesome.
Heh, the picture makes him look like Blackenstein. I dig it, I'll have to find an album. Thanks for the suggestion.
