    The saddest thing about Gallagher's act is that he actually sold it to his brother whom he ended up suing because he only sold the rights to perform on tour and not record or something.

    I liked some of the stuff that Gallagher would get preachy about way back in the 80s, and sort of looked past the dumb and silly stuff as him trying to keep the dumb and silly people interested in the show.

    Now... it just looks like he's really tired of being a comedian.

    I think short of entering the comedy film realm of Sandler/Carrey/Rock/etc., Oswalt & CK are about as big as you can get in the stand-up comedy business.

    Yeah, Patton Oswalt is definitely not really at the pinnacle of stand-up fame yet. Neither is Louis, but he's getting there.

    Also I really like the one standup I've seen of Mirman, something about his timing and delivery just appeals to me.

    I still enjoy Rodney Carrington. I use to like the Blue Colar Comedy Tour guys, but they haven't made me laugh since I was around 12.

    considering that major networks aren't handing out sitcoms to every other comic like they used to I'm not sure how you don't consider Louis at the pinnacle of standup fame. He has multiple CD's that have sold very well, he's on his second TV show, and I'm sure he can name his price for any venue or TV special.

    Diary of a Mad Black Woman was good.

    That's it though.

    He clearly some type of issue with gays though. I saw him on Oprah and he was talking about how he was molested by men and women as a child. He mentioned how the men "put some desires that weren't his in him" or whatever. And "whatever you don't feed will starve".

    Of course I have no idea what psychological effects molestation can have on a child's mind, but that really struck me the wrong way when he said it.

    Oh also I'm just saying once more that House of Payne is the worst sitcom I have ever seen in my life. Like I can actually be vaguely amused by Two and a Half Men or Big Bang Theory sometimes, but House of Payne just makes me want to snap Tyler Perry's neck.
