Those Aussies can have one like every week. Can't we have at least one that doesn't end with someone getting punched in the head and tears? Or at least can we have one that ends in that but is also fun.
Well Anyway I'm your pal Monkeyfeet and I have been studying abroad in Canterbury, England and I'm done school and I'm traveling all over the place. So there we were in facebook chat when Solar and Wiet were like hey we know you are trying to enjoy your day but how about you organize a European meet-up. And I was like alright fine.
So here is the deal. In July(?) we will be in Sheffield for the weekend. That means Me, Solar, and Wiet are already totally doing this and wanted to know who else wanted in because the more the merrier. Oh and Liiya lives in Sheffield so she is invited but doesn't know it yet. Ed lives pretty close too so he is also coming but doesn't know it. If no one else comes it will be the three of us anyway and we will probably search craigslist for things to do.
But yeah if you are in Europe and on this map please think about coming for a nice, cheap English weekend with some strapping young lads who speak with funny accents and totally don't want to lock you in a hotel room for the weekend.
Please post interest here and as the thread will die very quickly I'll keep in contact with everyone through PMs once I empty my mailbox. Chip-chip Cherrio and all that governor.
Hey Guys Actual Stuff is getting planned here let me break it down for you.

Monkeyfeet- A young American man studying in England for the year. Is currently traveling Europe and will head back to the States after this rodeo is done. Very good looking.
Wiet- A young Dutch man working hard as an intern in a law firm and just wants to cut loose and go wild in England for one weekend only! He is here for you, ladies. Actually would be putting in the most effort and money to get here probably.
Solar- A young English chap who actually lives in Sheffield. In retrospect he is kinda lazy for not having to go very far. But he is committed to making this thing happen and will know what is up at most times hopefully.
Liiya- A fair English florist who also lives in Sheffield. Having two forumers in the same location pretty much made the decision on the location. We were also very interested in getting discounts on some flowers and tips on arrangement techniques.
Edcrab- A fine English fellow as well that lives somewhere in the North. Almost Scottish I think. But I think it is a good location for him but he might be busy??
Gumpy- Is a robot
Tynic- I believe she is an Aussie in Germany. And she is thinking about coming despite the hardships maybe!? We all know Aussies are good at pax attendance and we know the Germans are efficient. So that might explain it.
The Black Hunter- An Aussie coming to Europe around this time. Coming provided we have a solid plan, which we will.
FAQ- An often drunk Irish(?)man in Ireland who has seen many of these events come and die. No intention of coming I believe.
Mr. D - Can make it if it is before the 11th. Which it is? I believe he is a student who has stolen a German wife.
Cowardly- Manchester supporter
Beasteh- Lives in Plymouth so he would have to go through many a hardship. Maybe if a carpool could swing by, but uhh
Mr.Brick- Coming from Hampshire via Car?
Junpei- Serial killer considering breaking the law to "visit" us? Also bringing his wife probs
That Dave Fella- From Ireland I believe and think he could make it as he is free. Delegate for the Irish forum population.
Wimble- Can't make it because not enough time? Oh Wimble.
Fyndir- Is considering stalking us. Perhaps he is planning on learning some lessons from Junpei?
Dark Raven X- lives in Birmingham
Blake T- Isn't coming. It might be because he lives in Australia. I might be because he has to sex many ladies despite being a robot. Just kidding we know he only sexes one special lady.
Also there are quite a few forumers on old SE++ map that have not posted or seen the thread. I will update the list as people provide info
Activities and Events:
Solar lives in Sheffield and is helping us plan a bunch of stuff we can do or not do depending on how much everything costs. For now you can take a look here. Feel free to look through that and post what you would like to do. There is a good list of things both free, cheap, and moderately expensive that you can do if people are interested. We were thinking for the costs that we would try to put together at least two larger events that everyone attends.

Getting There:
Sheffield can be located on Google Maps actually. I wasn't sure at first but I checked myself and it totally is.
Costs:
Travel costs will obviously vary per person but we have wonderful Mr. Brick offering rides if feasible.
I think we will book this hostel here. And it is about 15 pounds a night it looks like depending on which room we get.
First we got to plan the activities so help me out you nuts.

It tastes like tea, but has alcohol in it. And if you double up its 50 percent alcohol, apparently. Also it comes in awesome cups, which can be stolen.

Edit... I'd have thought that between the TGV and Eurolines coaches there would be cheapish travel to that neck of the woods from mainland Europe. I'll put the URLs up when I'm not fighting with my phone to post.
There have been a few of these haven't there? A couple of ones arranged here that happened in London and one arranged in D&D that happened in Birmingham.
Very little wiggle room
I do live in Sheffield, yes, and would be able to attend I'm quite sure. I am 95% sure I won't have found a new job by then. BUT I may have to book time off work so its unsure. As soon as you decide a date let me know.
Solar can do a guided Sheffield tour though, I'm not volunteering for that!
Would I need to have an interview at the embassy first?
