I'm not really sure if this is a problem, but it is a little frustrating. I am always dying of thirst! It doesn't matter what time or where I am, I'm always thirsty. Right now I'm drinking upwards of 2 gallons of water a day. I'm not running to the bathroom like crazy, either, so maybe it's a fast metabolism? Any insight would be appreciated, this is starting to become a nuisance...

If you're not exercising a lot, this isn't normal. The first thing that comes to mind is diabetes. Is this a recent development?
Sounds about right. 2 gallons of water is about 10 "tall glasses", which is how much the doctor told me I should be drinking per day after my last emergency stay in the hospital. Before that, I was averaging 4, which was not enough to keep me from going to the hospital.
But are you also eating right? Sometimes it's easy to confuse the thirst drive with the hunger drive.
Two gallons is a little large, but some individuals do drink that much water. Do you live in a hot area?

You should talk to a doctor, but it could just be how you are. Some people feel thirsty if they aren't drinking a ton of water all the time. I'm the opposite; I get by on about two smallish glasses of liquid a day and never feel thirsty. I know I'm supposed to drink more water, but it's hard to remember because I never feel thirsty.

And it seems like all is dying, and would leave the world to mourn
A friend of mine got this symptom of constant thirst just before he was diagnosed with diabetes. I agree with others that the OP should go to the doctor.
I'm in average shape, I don't exercise on a regular basis though my job keeps me on my feet, and my diet isn't great but I don't eat fast food or a lot of junk food.
I guess it's time to go see a doctor. Thanks for the advice.

I get exponentially more thirsty when I eat a lot of carbs or high sodium food, and I drink a lot of water to begin with.
