    I was talking about how WB was pretty gung ho about a sequel to that movie after it came out. As we know it never materialized.

    Which is funny to think about. As much of a bomb people think it is Green Lantern is on course to be worse.

    You should read my post where I said a sequel to Superman Returns.

    It was planned before that movie's release and after for several years.

    Man of Steel is a reboot.

    What I'm saying is no one should put any faith into WB when they say there will be a sequel to this Green Lantern.

    Oh Zack Snyder. I tried to watch Sucker Punch out of morbid curiosity yesterday. Didn't make it past the orcs. Though my friends were close to taking bets which pop culture cannon fodder would appear in each fantasy set piece.

    But I saw Super 8 and it made things better.

    I can't even... Can he do Watership Down next?

    Also did he use a ton of slow-mo in Dawn of the Dead? I can't remember if this is all just post 300.

    I don't think there was any slow motion in Dawn of the Dead

    I keep wondering if that was a fluke or if Zack Snyder has genuine talent and he's just under the mistaken impression that slow motion is his "style" of directing

    I wager it just started with him trying to freeze the film to get the images of particular panels from his comic films, and then it just kind of stuck.
