5 base vs 3 base, I think. Maxed army vs non maxed. DT's and gg.
To be fair, he lost his entire army and was at food parity when the DTS hit.
Yeah, it was just pretty unexpected. Also I think it's pretty hard to keep track of the upgrades when you watch casted games, and those were probably pretty important in this one.
One of each race left, this will be awesome. No mirrors, just awesome players.
Don't get how you can't be excited, foreigners had a pretty good showing overall if you look at the actual games. But foreigners do need practice houses to compete really, they do make a huge difference.

For some reason, the top 3 all being Koreans in an American tournament makes me angry.
It's like, this is our scene. You have our own. Not sure why MLG felt the need to do this.
edit: Foreigners really do need to copy the Korean model, though. It works. It really does.
In that last game, I would've liked to see IdrA take his huge econ advantage and throw up a bunch of spine crawlers and really try to choke MC out. He had complete map control for so long but it seemed like he just kept suiciding his army into bad situations until he lost the game.

This is why koreans pulled so hilariously ahead in BW. Unless there is one scene the korean one is likely to pull ahead. Unless foreigners realize koreans are pulling ahead ever so slowly, they would likely not improve as fast.
And the reason MLG did this is because they want nice games. And by hell, they got some amazing games.

I'm pretty happy about it
these last few series are gonna be fucking amazing
As much as I dislike Idra, MC is a complete tool and I was actually rooting for the Gracken in that set.
I just got done reading an (unverified) bit of info about how MC has shaken the hand of each of his opponents thus far in the tourney, but given idra the thumbs-down every time.
there's just so much to be gained for him mindgaming idra in-and-out of game that it's not surprising MC takes every opportunity to get a rise out of him. it's MC's job to play this game and I'd expect him to press the advantage that idra's inability to process competition-related emotions gives him to the greatest extent he can, let alone arguments about how it's his persona to be a douche, something which I personally haven't seen a lot of evidence to agree with.
so 3 matches left. losira vs mma in winners final. Next is the loser of the winners final vs mc which would be the losers final. Then the championship from winner of winners and winner of losers.
Really was sad hearing so many people root for mc against Idra. Sure Idra is kinda a dick but this is 'murrica root for the white boy. Now I'm drinking across the street. I suppose well go back for the last couple matches but that doesn't mean I have to care.

you could be watching these games live and you're across the street?

I like to cheer for americans and non koreans usually, was behind idra there, but he lost and it's over. don't miss what might be the best games of the whole tournament. please.
probably the worst part of idra's departure for me is that you can tell the audience is much less invested in these games; the audience participation was making this fun, and I personally couldn't care less if it's korea v. korea, but losira is murdering mma and they're practically silent.

I think Idra had +2 ranged attack.
Think he lost that fight because he has, like, 20 supply locked up in meh units instead of hydras.
Also DTs had a big impact.
The fungals were good though. Landed plenty of good ones.
Go MMA!

Not much to complain about there.

has made for some awesome game, and sends the message that foreigners need to step it up (though it wasn't a slaughter, there were some close games)

He gave up before the first game started; it was shameless how little he tried.

A 200 P beats a 200 Z so I think IdrA was just trying to keep MC's numbers down and trying to prevent a deathball.

I can't feel bad for him considering he basically threw away three games though.
The BM to me was his running out and thumbs downing Idra on stage after the match was over and he had his victory.
Yeah, same here. The in game chat I thought was interesting, it's always good to get into your opponent's head.
The stuff outside the booth was just gloating though, made MC look like a jerk.
that game was ouch come on mma
And MC is awesome, it's good to see someone being cocky and confident.
He may not be the FBH we need, but he is the FBH we deserve.
Eh. FBH was fun BM. He thrust, he danced, he did some hilarious acrobatics and strutted around with hot chicks like a movie star. MC is just an ass.
Haha yep. When tastosis was introducing the players. "Let's hear it for MMA!" "....yeah.."
MC was like, U mad bro?
Then idra said, no why would he be mad.
Because Zerg aren't supposed to beat P.
Then MC was like, ok cool.
And Losira is just wrecking MMA here, really thought it would be less onesided.
two flaming depots must be a huge FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU moment for zerg :?
nah not yet, mma about to get it GOING this game
