I sent a message to the store guys explaining what happened and Brian shipped a new shirt to the guy it was supposed to go to and told me to keep the one I got.

Not like I just randomly said "aha it's mine!"

Edit: Although it actually is pretty hurtful that you'd just assume I'm some kind of gigantic asshole.

Sorry, I'm kinda touchy at the moment because of friend drama. Also I was really tired and didn't have a filter.

But yeah Brian's email was funny. He even checked my order history to see my size and then was like, "I'm not stalking, I swear!"

If that vest was not made with that suit I am impressed with the matching of the pin striping.

Also I don't think your pocket square disappeared so much as it decided to hide in your pocket, or the lining of your pocket is just slightly visible.

I know a musician who wears one of those, I think. Maybe the brim isn't wide enough to call it a fedora.

The dude is like 60 though and he has the old jazz man look. I think he is allowed to wear whatever he wants.

What is up with mixing leathers?

I generally don't wear enough leather for this to have ever come up. I don't own any belts. Just shoes. But I want a leather messenger bag. Because I've realized I hold onto things a really long time. So subsequently I can end up with bland things for years just because. So I may as well start off with something nice because chances are I won't want to bother replacing it.

But I like brown and tan leather bags best, while I really do not care for those colors on leather shoes (I like black and red shoes best). Would it really be a big deal to use a tan leather bag when the other leathers I own aren't tan?

I think for a bag it probably won't be too glaring. I mean belt and shoes should match but that bag is not something that is going to be on your person all the time. If you are concerned getting a darker brown bag will likely mitigate any potential damage.
